Renova (Tretinoin)
Purpose of Medication and Method of Action
Renova is indicated as an adjunctive agent in the removal of fine wrinkles, mottled hyperpigmentation, and roughness of facial skin. It acts by stimulating the growth and differentiation of epidermal cells of the skin.
Side Effects
Side effects have resulted in approximately 4% of patients having to discontiue Renova. Those side effects were limited to burning, stinging, and local swelling where the Renova was applied.

Cautions and Contraindications
This medication should not be used in women who are contemplating pregnancy or who are pregnant!! Do not use if sensitive to sunlight.
Usual Dose
After washing the face, lightly cover the face daily at bedtime.
