Ebastel (Ebastine)
Purpose of Medication and Method of Action
Ebastel (ebastine) is a antihistamine/antiallergy medication available from Europe. It differs from many of the antiallergy drugs available in the United States in that not only does it inhibit histamine receptors but it also blocks other inflammatory and allergy mediators such as leucotrienes and prostaglandin F. Ebastel does not appear to produce drowsiness.
