Dorner (Beraprost)
Purpose of Medication and Method of Action
This orally active preparation is one of the few therapies for primary pulmonary hypertension (PPH). Based on limited studies, dorner can produce improvement (subjective and objective) in 38% of patients with PPH.
Side Effects
ide effects include interaction with anticoagulants or with conditions with a predisposition for bleeding. Other common side effects are mild.
